Christmas is upon us and 2024 approaching an end. It has been quite a year for the team here at LittlePod. It is almost time for us to close our doors for the festive season. In doing so, we can look back on the last 12 months with great satisfaction.

In 2024, we have exhibited our products in Tokyo, Shanghai and London and, through our Campaign for Real Vanilla, we have spread our important message all over the world; the LittlePod orchard continues to go from strength to strength and, thanks to all our farmers’ efforts in Indonesia, we have proved that Made’s pioneering polyculture system can have a positive impact on the environment; Janet is writing a book, due to be published next spring, which will tell LittlePod’s ecological story and celebrate REAL vanilla, Nature’s Unsung Hero; and we have launched new products aplenty, including our alcohol-free natural vanilla paste – an innovative ingredient that has been several years in the making.

There is more. Much more. On October 17th, as always, we celebrated International Real Vanilla Day. In September, we lent our support to the local arts once again as the FSA marked its 20th anniversary. Melissa became our first Sustainable Development Manager, whilst Dave travelled to Treviso to compete at the Tiramisu World Cup. In our wider LittlePod family, we welcomed new additions and even toasted a 100th birthday. It has been nothing if not eventful. This is the LittlePod way!

Underpinning all that we have done in 2024 has been our Campaign for Real Vanilla and our continuing quest to support the farming communities in the Equatorial regions who preserve and protect the rainforest environment to the benefit of us all. This is a mission that could not succeed without the backing of all our LittlePodders.

To our customers and all those who continue to use our products and help us to spread the word about REAL vanilla and its importance to the planet, we send season’s greetings, our thanks and best wishes for the festive season.
