Last week, we went to the Speciality & Fine Food Fair. Taking our Campaign for Real Vanilla out and about is always a great pleasure…

Our latest trip to London did not disappoint!

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Speciality & Fine Food Fair is the UK’s leading showcase of artisanal food and drink. Exhibiting our products in the Taste of the West Pavilion at the ever-impressive Olympia, we met interesting people aplenty, LittlePodders old and new, and enjoyed telling the story of vanilla and of the LittlePod farmers at our collaborative orchard in Indonesia.

The LittlePod farmers’ vanilla pods – grown sustainably, high in the Balinese hills, using a pioneering system of polyculture – caught the eye in particular. Visitors to our stand enjoyed their earthy, dark aroma and the chance to handle our farmers’ pods, which are dark, plump and packed with flavour, with a high vanillin content.

We enjoyed demonstrating our innovative natural vanilla paste in a tube, which makes using real vanilla easier than ever. Then there were our latest products, some of which are brand new. Sourced from the LittlePod orchard, our vanilla powder intrigued and interested. Due to be launched in time for Christmas, our Gift Boxes could be seen on our stand. There was LittlePod honey, produced in partnership with our neighbours, Artemis Bees. We also noted an interest in our non-alcoholic vanilla paste, a product long in the pipeline and one that is coming soon.

It was, as outlined above, an experience to savour and one that gave us a chance to talk at length – not just about LittlePod and our products – but about real vanilla and its value to the world.
