Our Indonesian vanilla pods come from LittlePod’s collaborative orchard in Bali, where our farmers use a pioneering system of polyculture. Whilst simultaneously growing a wide variety of crops in the natural rainforest, the LittlePod orchard is creating a self-sustainable ecosystem, contributing to biodiversity and improved soil fertility.
Ideal flavour partners: This vanilla type has a unique smoky flavour with earthy undertones. It is best used in rich desserts, chocolates and caramels. The smokiness pairs well with savoury dishes like curries, brown butter, barbecue or cream sauces.
