Whetting our appetite for the arts – it’s Found in Farringdon!

06th Sep 2022

Taking place just over our garden wall here at LittlePod HQ, the FSA’s latest exhibition promises to be an arts event to savour.

Here at LittlePod, our passion for the arts is long established. Ever since our launch in 2010, we’ve been proud to support local artists, showcasing and celebrating their work, and giving our backing as and when it’s needed. This month, we’ll be doing it once more. Needless to say, we’re rather excited.

Launching this weekend, just over our garden wall, Found in Farringdon is an art exhibition that we’re pleased to be sponsoring. Featuring work by LittlePod friend Imogen Hallam, as well as Dave Robinson, Allie Giles and Lisa Hammond, the Farringdon Society of Arts event will include ceramics, glass, sculpture, painting, drawing and mixed media. Given our involvement in sponsoring the exhibition space at the Springs Gallery, within Farringdon Village Hall, there will, of course, be refreshments for all.

Janet and the FSA team are hard at work preparing for Saturday’s Private Viewing and Launch Event, where drinks and canapes will be served, with open days to follow throughout the month (up to September 25th, excluding Mondays and Tuesdays, between 10am and 5pm). Delicious LittlePod tasters – including shortbread, biscuits and cakes, all baked in our kitchen using REAL ingredients – will be available to all who attend. Like to find out more? Keep an eye on our social media channels or contact the FSA if you’d like to meet one of the artists.

If this has whetted your appetite as much as it has ours, why not get involved in Devon Open Studios, the annual flagship event of the Devon Artist Network, which is also due to launch this weekend? Promising a ‘cornucopia of art’ and featuring the work of local potters, painters, woodworkers, jewellery makers and countless other creatives, Devon Open Studios will see over 300 resident artists and craftspeople – more than ever before – open their studios and workspaces to the public this month.

The Farringdon exhibition is featured (it’s 192 in the guide) and, here at LittlePod HQ, we look forward to seeing – and feeding – everyone who stops by!
