Twelfth Night and a summer’s evening to savour…

11th Jul 2022

Open-air theatre returned to the LittlePod garden this summer. The Cygnet players proved popular once more and a fun time was had by all.

It’s always a highlight here, one of the most important dates of all on the LittlePod calendar.

Open-air arts and a visit from our good friends at the Cygnet Theatre performing live on the LittlePod lawn on a warm summer’s evening; it’s a tradition indeed, and there’s nothing quite like it.

It seems hard to believe that 12 months had passed since the Cygnet players last called (pictured below, last July). Back in our garden once again, it was just like old times!

For 2022, the date was 20th July, and the performance Twelfth Night.

It was a summer’s night to savour, as LittlePodders galore gathered in our garden to watch the entertainment unfold.

Everyone was welcomed as we had even more to celebrate than usual, with this the group’s 40th anniversary year, and a great deal to toast (with LittlePod’s vanilla beer, or whatever tipple you might have preferred), not least the highly-successful Dream Festival, the Exeter-wide series of arts events organised to mark Cygnet’s four decades of accomplishments.

From all here at LittlePod HQ, we send our congratulations to the Cygnet team and their marvellous performance, and we look forward to seeing everyone again. Bravo!

Interested in other arts events in and around our local area? Be sure to visit the Farringdon Society of Arts, with the Devon Open Studios Trail due to return this autumn, and much more planned and in the pipeline.
