Vegan Chocolate Spread

This recipe comes from LittlePod friend and plant-based expert Jamie Raftery, aka The Holistic Chef. Jamie’s indulgent chocolate spread takes just 30 seconds to make, is packed with nutritional goodness and tastes incredible. Trust us on this, you’ll never go back to store-bought chocolate spreads again!

Natural Vanilla Paste

Ingredients

  • 100ml white sesame tahini
    80ml oat milk or water
    10g cacao powder
    25ml maple syrup to taste
    1 tsp LittlePod vanilla paste

Method

  1. Measure and weigh out all the ingredients.
  2. Put the tahini into a mixing bowl and add the cacao powder and maple syrup.
  3. Mix together with the oat milk and vanilla paste and whisk into a creamy, smooth consistency.
  4. Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.

This recipe can be customised to suit your own particular tastes. Why not experiment by adding cinnamon powder, orange zest and / or pink salt, or using an alternative plant milk?
