In memoriam: to all those who knew and worked with Achim Rohr.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Achim Rohr – a dear friend, colleague and long-time LittlePodder. Achim’s tragic death has come as a great shock to his family, friends and all those who knew him. It has left a huge wound that we are all still coming to terms with. Achim was such a decent and humane man. He was one of the good guys.

Achim was a devoted LittlePodder from way back in the early days, having first met Janet at Exeter University’s Innovations Centre, where she had been asked to deliver a talk about launching LittlePod and our Campaign for Real Vanilla in 2010.

During the subsequent years, Achim contributed a great deal to LittlePod and our endeavours, training various members of our teams and helping us to gain a valuable foothold in Germany, his country of birth.

Just over two years ago, in March 2023, Achim teamed up with Dorit, our distributor in Germany, to introduce LittlePod and our products to visitors to Kulinart in Stuttgart. Six months earlier, he had joined Janet at GenussGipfel, an important trade event in Cologne. On both occasions, as with everything that he did for us during a 15-year association that we will always cherish, Achim represented LittlePod wonderfully.

Achim was always a fantastic cheerleader for LittlePod, and as a colleague, as a friend and as a man, we shall all miss him greatly.
