The FSA’s 20th year is in full swing and, here at LittlePod, we’re delighted to be lending our support. Celebrating two decades of artistic events in the village, there’s a lot to look forward to this autumn!
Devon Open Studios is the largest visual arts event of its kind in the county!
It is an important year for the local arts in our small corner of East Devon. The Farringdon Society of Arts, of which Janet – LittlePod’s founder and MD – is Director, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. There’s a great deal planned and in the pipeline, as reported previously. Here at LittlePod, we’re proud to be lending our support.
There’s a little over one month to go until the FSA’s week-long programme of events gets underway, right here on our doorstep in East Devon. The running order has been established and the programme printed. There’s a great deal on the timetable to tempt those with an interest in the local arts.

Timed to coincide with Devon Open Studios 2024, it all begins on September 16th, when the FSA’s latest art exhibition opens its doors at the Village Hall at 11am.
The LittlePod team and I are proud to be supporting our local arts scene once again…
Janet Sawyer MBE BEM, LittlePod MD & founder
The exhibition will be open daily, until 6pm on September 22nd. Further details – including opening times and information about the FSA’s artists – can be found here.

In addition, a series of events will take place throughout the week, some involving important people from our past, including a talk from Janet, who will tell the fascinating story of how an FSA event first inspired the launch of LittlePod in 2010.
With events daily, there is something for everyone and here at LittlePod, we are excited to be involved and looking forward to continuing to lend our backing.
Find full details via the FSA, email fsadevon@hotmail.co.uk or call 01395 232022. Most of this autumn’s events are free to attend, with the exception of Four of Swords (£7), Tom McLauchlan (£5) and Vivien and Sally’s Tittle-Tattle Teatime (all proceeds will go to Four of Swords, the church roof fund and the village hall respectively).
